On the last day of FY!5, the Sensex ended lower by 18.37 points at 27,957.49.
In the broader market, BSE midcap and BSE smallcap indices underperformed the larger counterparts and ended flat with a negative bias.

Auto stocks Hero MotoCorp and Mahindra & Mahindra gained 1-2 per cent on the back of strong sales in the month of September.
